As a mad Sydney Roosters and Queensland Maroons fan it was a real thrill to join two former Roosters and Queensland State of Origin stars @david Shillington and ‘The Axe’ Trevor Gillmeister as they shared ‘Maroon Coloured Lessons in Leadership and Teamwork’.
To get insights from two people who intrinsically understand the importance of leadership and teamwork was a real buzz . . . as were the great anecdotes Trevor and David shared of their playing days with some of the legends of the sport.
A great takeaway from the morning was – Being comfortable with being uncomfortable.
Just as David and Trevor predicted the Queensland spirit came through yet again!
