Emmanuel City Mission is a sanctuary for the homeless offering daytime respite with breakfast and lunch daily, a shower, the ability to wash and dry their clothes and a safe haven to connect with others. It brings hope and healing to those who need it most.
That’s why it was so special to be part of the Queensland Cricketers’ Club – Beyond the Boundary Fundraising lunch.
Great honour to sit next to Archbishop Colridge even though I’m a Brisbane Boys’ College (BBC) Old Boy. Greg Ritchie’s keynote address was thought provoking and hilarious at the same time.
The “Beyond the Boundary” event raised over $35,000 on the day.
