It was wonderful to be part of an amazing group of Queensland business leaders who pledged over $15,000 to support the making of Mel Poole’s film Charlie, which will change perceptions about the homeless.
Inspired by true accounts, Charlie is a film about man who lived on the streets of Brisbane and tells of how a tragic event can leave any one of us broken and homeless.
The only kindness he takes is the daily serving of soup from the local soup van which is where he met Anthony Ryan.
